A WARRINGTON property developer sat on the top table after sponsoring one of Labour North West's biggest nights.
Shehzad Khan is a Warrington resident and director of POD Property Group which sponsored the glitzy affair in Manchester on Thursday night.
The company is a privately-owned property development company specialising in residential and commercial property across the UK.
It is behind current redevelopments of the Blind Society building on Museum Street and the former Warrington Club.

Offer made for former TJ Hughes building on Sankey Street
A WARRINGTON-based property development firm has made an offer for a recognisable building in the town centre.
Pod Property Group, which operates out of Wilson Patten Street, has submitted a bid to buy the former TJ Hughes building on Sankey Street.
Before TJ Hughes, the property was occupied by Co-op and has more recently been used as a 99p store, but it has largely been empty of late.

Take a look inside the former Warrington Club building set to become 12 apartments
THE historic Warrington Club building in the town centre is set to transform into 12 apartments.
After 143 years of operating in the town, the institution shut its doors on Bold Street last year, and has since been acquired by Pod Property Group.
A meeting place for the business community and the town’s oldest networking club, The Warrington Club was first formed by Victorian industrialists as Warrington began to grow rapidly in the late 19th century.

Bolton ballroom's transformation into town centre apartments

A FORMER ballroom, which became a famous club and later a live music venue, is undergoing a total transformation as work to convert the historic town centre building into flats gets underway.

Warrington Blind Society building to become luxury apartments
THE building which housed Warrington Blind Society for almost 90 years is set to be transformed into 12 luxury apartments.
The vacant property at 4 Museum Street has been bought by Pod Property Group, which is submitting planning applications to convert it into a range of one and two-bedroom apartments.
